If a cosmetics line has good swatches of its product; it’s a winner! Isn’t that the motto ALL swatches should have? Sadly, that’s not always the case. I have seen swatches on other people that have been amazing. Then, I spend my money. I go home and try the makeup on myself (a Dior foundation comes to mind), and I’m ashy as hell.
I’m crying because I spent $60.00, Dillards is closed and I have an event to attend. Next, I make a dash to Walgreens and buy something on a whim. I pray I look like myself and not a tired hooker on Bourbon Street. 👠👠👠👠👠👠👠👠 Not a good look! Also, I have never seen an (actual hooker on Bourbon Street).
The moral of the story….swatch for your damn life, before you buy. If you can’t swatch in person, look up the item online and google swatches of that item with a person of your hue (shade). Will this always happen, maybe not! However, you have done your best homework for what you are shopping for.
What do these swatch look like?
Hope you enjoy, now I must wash my arm off and work on another post for you!
